Push Notification Settings
The Push Notification Settings feature in Syteville allows merchants to send offline marketing notifications to customers who have opted in to receive them. Located under the Settings tab in the Left Sidebar, Push Notification Settings is the sixth option at the top left. This guide explains how to configure and send push notifications to engage your customers effectively.
Accessing Push Notification Settings
- Navigate to Push Notification Settings: In the Left Sidebar, click Settings, then select Push Notification Settings (the sixth option at the top left).
Configuring Push Notification Settings
Please make sure to enable the on/off toggle for push notifications, click the Save button to keep your configuration settings for future use. The Push Notification Settings section includes fields to create and customize notifications:
Notification Icon: Upload an icon to display with the notification.
Notification Title: Enter the notification title (maximum 75 characters).
Notification Message: Enter the main notification text (maximum 215 characters, text only). For notifications with a banner, limit to 45 characters.
Notification Banner: Upload an optional banner image to accompany the notification.
Notification URL: Enter an optional URL for the notification link (do not include https://).
Sending Push Notifications
Once you've configured the notification details, you have two options:
Send to Yourself for Testing: Click the "Send Test Notification" button to preview the notification on your own device (Must also be Opt-In to receive notification).
Send to All Opted-In Customers: Click the "Send Live Notification" button to deliver the notification to all subscribed customers.
Subscriber Count
The Total Subscribers count indicates the number of customers who have opted in to receive push notifications. This number represents the audience that will receive your notifications when sent.
